Fundraiser for At-Risk Youth

Logan Lake Snake Mountain Bike Race September 21st, 2019.

Race Starts at 9 am at Marie King Park, 1 Galena Ave and Chartrand drive, collect your registration packages between 7:00am and 8:30am


                

First 50 people to register get a custom Sombrio jersey included with their race package!

The course consists of single track downhill through our beautiful pristine old-growth forests, combined with double track ascents to alpine meadows, and blossom filled valleys. 


Registration fee is $60 and will include a custom athletic shirt.


A portion of all registration fees will go to funding our concept “Liberal Arts Mentorship Program,” for at-risk youth.  https://infiniteexpansionfoundation.ca/concept-program

Free Community Events

Community Mural

Community Mural is open for anyone to participate!!!

The community mural is on the brick wall at the grocery store, head to 1 opal drive at 11:00am if you would like to watch, participate, or drop off a donation.


 There will also be a community mural hosted by Aurelia Bizouard, http://www.aureliabizouard.com/ Artist and Creative Director at Kulturelia https://www.kulturelia.com/

Aurelia has generously offered to volunteer her time and expertise in order to help raise awareness for our concept Art Therapy based approach to treating and preventing addiction. The mural will be set up near the Rec. Center on Chartrand and will start at 11am. Feel free to drop by at any time to participate.

*Infinite Expansion Foundation would like to thank the Mayor, City Council, and the District of Logan Lake as a whole for approving a $4000 grant-in-aid in order to fund Discover Our Nature day 2019.

Guided Hikes/ Lessons

Disc-Golf Lessons

  •  A free clinic will be hosted by Carrie Neal from 11:00am-2:00pm. Bring running shoes, water, and a jacket. (Frisbees are provided to use for the duration of the event
  • The disc golf course is located across from the Rec. Center, walk up the gravel road that leads to the bike park if you would like to participate. It is open to all ages.

Mountain Bike Race

Participants are asked to meet at Marie King Park to pick up their registration package between 8:00am- 8:45am. Spectators are welcome, and will be guided to Marie King Park and  Emerald Park for the start of the race. Spectators are asked to cheer on the participants at the finish line in Maggs Park between 11am - 3pm. Spectators who wish to watch from the trail will  be directed to other various viewing areas near the trail going around Logan Lake.
